Flash Content problem in Firefox size

Thanks to this forum : http://forums.globalscape.com/tm.aspx?m=14818

 Your flash code is incomplete.

IE uses the OBJECT code.  Firefox uses EMBED.  BOTH of those codes needs to show the SIZE of the movie!
And the code must start AND finish to work properly.

EX:  This is the code that I use on the Lambert website (lambertusa.com) home page half way down ad for Prosoco products:

<object classid=”clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000″
codebase=”http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=4,0,2,0
id=”announcingprobanner” width=”530″ height=”150″>
<param name=”movie” value=”HTMLobj-1700/announcingprobanner.swf”>
<param name=”bgcolor” value=”#FFFFFF”>
<param name=”quality” value=”high”>
<param name=”allowscriptaccess” value=”samedomain”>
<embed type=”application/x-shockwave-flash”
pluginspage=”http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer
width=”530″ height=”150″
   name=”announcingprobanner” src=”HTMLobj-1700/announcingprobanner.swf”
bgcolor=”#FFFFFF” quality=”high”
swLiveConnect=”true” allowScriptAccess=”samedomain”
></embed>
</object>

You can see that the OBJECT code at the beginning has a size.  And the EMBED code at the bottom has a size.
YOUR code doesn’t do that!
In fact, you start an EMBED code but never finish it!  You will need to adjust your code to fix the problem!
Since IE uses OBJECT, and that is complete, you can see the swf fine in that browser.

<object src=”HTMLobj-185/birdhunting.swf” classid=”clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000″ border=”0″  width=”600″  height=”450″  align = “Default”  hspace =”0″ vspace =”0″ id=”birdhunting” codebase=” http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0 ” AspectChk=”1″ SizeChk=”1″>
<param name=”movie” value=”HTMLobj-185/birdhunting.swf” >
<param name=”quality” value=”Low”>
<param name=”scale” value=”Default(Show All)”>
<param name=”salign” value=”Default(Center)”>
<param name=”play” value=”false”>
<param name=”loop” value=”false”>
<param name=”menu” value=”false”>
<param name=”bgcolor” value=””>
<embed src= “HTMLobj-185/birdhunting.swf”  pluginspage=”http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” bgcolor=”” play=”false” menu=”false” loop=”false” scale=”Default(Show All)” salign=”Default(Center)” quality=”Low”>
</object>

How to Delete and Remove the Windows.old Folder on Vista or Windows 7

Thaks for this link : http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/delete-windows-old-removal.aspx

If you have installed a new operating system like Windows Vista or Windows 7 on your existing operating system, not upgraded but make a clean install then the Vista or Windows 7 installation wizard takes a back up your previous Windows files.
This back up strategy is useful for many times because you might find files, configuration or data files you thought that you lost during the Windows 7 installation or Windows Vista installation.
You can copy and paste those files and use in your new system from Vista windows.old folder or Windows 7 windows.old folder.

But if your system is suffering from lack of disk space, then you will search for methods to delete and remove unnecessary files covering space on your hard disk.
One huge size of data that you may not require is the Vista Windows.old folder or the Windows 7 Windows.old folder and the contents of the Windows.old folder. Of course if you are sure you will not require them later.
